Hamrick Software is offering Apple User Groups a free copy of VueScan for demonstration and review.

VueScan, a popular third party scanning program, has over 160,000 users and supports over 1,200 different scanner brands on three operating systems. Available only online, VueScan offers over 50 advanced scanning features, vast improvements in speed, and enables many older scanners to work. It can also be downloaded and tested for free.

VueScan is available in 40 languages, with recent news releases focusing on education offers and Japanese audiences.

To request a license, write to the email address supplied in the May 19, 2009 issue of the Apple User Group Bulletin, with your user group name and mention that you learned about this offer from UGAB.

This worldwide offer is limit of one request per group and is valid until August 31, 2009.
